Wait for the captain to turn off the seatbelt sign … An airline pilot is being called a hero … not for safely landing a plane, but for hilariously putting an entitled passenger in her place. After a flight lands, passengers are reminded to stay seated until the captain has turned off the seatbelt sign, but some people don’t want to play by the rules. A Reddit user said they were recently on a flight where a female passenger seated all the way in the back, unbuckled as soon as the plane touched down and immediately walked all the way to the front of the plane to get off first … all while ignoring the crew’s commands.
When the plane finally pulled into the gate, the pilot got on the PA and announced that there was a special guest on board, and he was coming out into the cabin to greet them. He exited the cockpit and asked the woman if she could step a few feet back so he could get to the row that the special guest was sitting in. But he kept moving her back row by row until finally returning her to the back of the plane. He asked her to sit for a second while he got on the PA and said, “Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to announce our special guest sitting in seat 42C. Let’s give her a round of applause.” The plane erupted in laughter and applauded the pilot.
