The latest TikTok trend is adult spelling bee parties. Food, cocktails, and having to spell difficult words … what’s not to love?
Some parties even involve some friendly wagering and prizes for winners. The contestants can be individual or participate as teams, and one spelling bee soiree host says she offers a “phone-a-friend” freebie for each team. Some get elaborate with themes and others keep it simple. Either way, it’s a fun change-up to Scrabble night or Words With Friends.
