Summer used to be wedding season, but it seems more couples are falling into fall for their big day. According to The Knot’s annual wedding trends report, the most popular day to get married this year is September 21st, 2024, followed by September 14th. And the most popular month to get married this year is October, followed by September.
Other findings:
25% of couples said their wedding themes were inspired or influenced by cultural moments and trends. Taylor Swift, Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter, and the dance scene from the Barbie movie were top sources of inspiration.
Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love” was the most popular first dance song of 2023.
