So my friend brushes her dogs teeth. Have you’ve ever tried to brush your pup’s teeth, you know how hard it is. Most of the time the dog will bite the toothbrush, refuse to open their mouth, or run away.
Because of this, many dog owners don’t even bother to brush their teeth. According to a survey, more than 20% dog owners say they never give them a good teeth cleaning.
Bigger news: That means that 80% are brushing their dog’s teeth. Of the ones who do, 17% are really great dog owners and brush their dog’s teeth several times a week. Most people who clean their dogs’ teeth say they do it with either a dental chew, a toothbrush and dog toothpaste, or a chew toy.
