Hi, I’m Carletta!  Country music has been the core soundtrack of my life, and I’ve been honored to provide that soundtrack for other country listeners for 20 years now.

I was born and raised in West Virginia to a mother who instilled a sense of community and volunteerism in me from a young age.  As a recipient of Toys for Tots and a local food bank as a kid, those organizations remain important to me.  My younger sister passed away from Muscular Dystrophy at age 12, and children’s charities are those I’ve become most active with as an adult, helping to raise thousands of dollars and awareness through various events and fundraisers.  I am also a member of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital National Radio Advisory Committee and served as Committee Chair from 2022 to 2024.

When I’m not singing front row at a concert or helping to host an event, you’ll find me hiking with my husband, Moses, and learning about all things trains and Sonic from my 8-year-old autistic son, Xander.  I’m also an avid baker, and although my desserts may not always be the prettiest, I promise they’ll taste delicious.  You can always see my baking wins (and fails) on Instagram @carlettablake.
