Oliver Anthony channels all the rage of the American working man and articulates it excellently into a song that resonates palpably with people for very real reasons. This isn’t the first song and video from Oliver Anthony either.
If you search YouTube, there are a host of similar performances, and each one showcases sincere sentiments, and honest emotion, while displaying gifted songwriting chops backed by a strong voice that deserves to be taken seriously.
I love this man’s emotion. Even if you don’t agree with his politics, you have to respect the passion and hurt in his voice…it cuts like a knife.
