The things I learn on TikTok. That’s my go-to for a quick recipe or if I want to learn some new cooking technique. Shoot, I started making TikToks myself for the food I cook. Seems celeb chefs have nothing on regular cooks on TikTok these days. More and more people are getting everything from recipes to restaurant recommendations to cooking tips from TikTok, rather than traditional food shows or magazines. And the numbers certainly don’t lie. TikTok’s food stars have millions of followers, compared to, say, The New York Times Cooking section, which has 309,400 TikTok followers and Bon Appétit, which has just under 300,000.
