ACADEMY AWARDS: Nominees Announced 

 

Nominees for the 84th annual Academy Awards have just been announced in Los Angeles. Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence (Winter's Bone) helped read the names at the press conference. This is the first time there have been nine nominees for Best Picture. The Academy Awards will be handed out on February 26th.
