Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a great way to fight back against breast cancer and provide hope to all people facing the disease. Making Strides is not a race; it is a celebration of survivorship, an occasion to express hope, and a shared goal to end a disease that threatens the lives of so many people we love. Bluegrass, barbecue, and a benefit like no other! K95 and The Massey Alliance welcomes the community to attend the 3rd Annual Swinetangle benefit presented by Apex Systems, Inc. All the fun is happening Sunday. September 21st from Noon- 5pm at Rock Bottom Island (located across from the River Road Shopping Center at 5995 River Road)!
This family friendly event will feature the music of The Atkinsons, Barbecue by the Smokey Pig, beer by Loveland Distributors, and entertainment options for the whole family! Admission covers food, drink, and entertainment. A raffle will also be available for great prizes.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the VCU Massey Cancer Center to support research in the fight against cancer.
Tickets are available here for $25 per adult before the event and $35 at the door. Children’s tickets (10 years and older) are $10 online or $15 at the door. Children under 10 get in free!
