K95's Doin' It Country For The Money Official Rules

 
Promotion Description.  The K95 “Doin’ Country for the Money” Contest (the “Promotion”) is sponsored by ­­ Summit Media Corp-Richmond, 812 Moorefield Park Drive, Suite 300, Richmond, VA 23236 (together, the “Sponsors”).  The promotion begins at 6:00 a.m. (ET) on Monday, March 24, 2014 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Thursday, June 19, 2013 (the “Promotion Period”). By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules.

1. Eligibility.  This Promotion is open only to legal Virginia residents who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsors, or of any of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, and advertising and production agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.  The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.

 
How to Enter. 
 
Every morning, Monday through Friday, at 6:15am (EST), 7:15am (EST) and 8:15am (EST),K95 Morning Show hosts Catfish & Lori will announce the “K95 Doin’ It Country For The Money Song of the Day”. Additionally K95 on-air staff will also post the “K95 Doin’ It Country For The Money Song of the Day” on Facebook (Facebook.com/K95Richmond) every morning Monday - Friday between 6:00am (EST) – 7:00am (EST).
 
When the “K95 Doin’ It Country For The Money Song of the Day” song plays each day between 9am and 5pm, listeners must dial 804-345-9595 to try to be the caller #9. Caller #9 wins $100.00 and is qualified to win $9,500.00. The $9,500.00 winning name picked by a Summit Media employee in a random drawing from qualifiers by the WKHK programming staff) will be announced at 7:15am (EST) Thursday morning, June 19th on the Catfish & Lori Show.
 
Each household may only have one winner during the Promotion Period. Each winner may only win one time during the Promotion Period.
 
Sponsor will not be responsible for loss of service to the call-in line or for a contestant’s failure to reach the call-in line due to malfunction of any network or system, congestion, overload, busy signals, or any other factor that may prevent an individual from completing his/her phone call.  In the event of interruption of power or telephone service to WKHK during a call-in period of the Sweepstakes and prior to accepting the 9th caller, the call-in period affected by the interruption may or may not be replayed at the resumption of service, at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
 
 

2. How the Winner Will Be Selected. 

 
Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, each 9th caller will be declared a Winner.  The winner of the $9,500 Grand Prize will be selected randomly on June 19^th by an employee of Summit Media from the list of $100 winners.   
 

3. Odds of Winning.  The odds of a particular entrant being selected as a $100.00 winner depend on the number of eligible entries received via Call-Ins. The odds of winning the $9,500.00 Grand Prize are 1 in 64.

 

4. Conditions of Acceptance of Prize.  Sponsor will notify winners during their initial telephone call to WKHK upon verification of their eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. The Grand Prize winner will be notified via telephone on June 19th

 
Winners may waive their right to receive prizes.  Prizes are non-assignable and nontransferable.  No substitutions allowed by winner. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.  Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes.   Winner is required to sign prize acceptance forms, including an affidavit of eligibility and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law) at the Summit Media Group-Richmond offices, 812 Moorefield Park Drive, Suite 300, Richmond, VA 23236 during regular business hours, 8:30 am-5:30 pm, by July 18, 2014. Winner will be required to verify identity with a government issued photo ID.  Failure to timely sign and return the affidavit or release, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner’s disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute winner. Except where prohibited, acceptance of any prize constitutes winner’s consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation the Internet, or further compensation. Any telephone calls placed to the WKHK call-in line may be recorded for use on air any time. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsor. 
 

5. Publicity Consent.  By participating in this contest, each winner consents to the publication of his or her name, likeness, image, photograph, voice and/or biographical information by the Sponsors in any media, for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation.

 

6. Limitation on Liability.  By entering this Promotion, each entrant forever discharges and releases each of the Sponsors, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and the directors, officers, employees, and agents of each of the foregoing, from any and all liability whatsoever for any claims, causes of action, suits, demands, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Promotion or with the acceptance, possession or use of any prize, or travel to or from any Promotion event (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages related to: personal injury; damage to, or loss or destruction of property; rights of publicity or privacy; and defamation or portrayal in a false light).

 

7. Sponsor’s Reservation of Rights.  By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and decisions of the Sponsors and the Promotion and Event supervisors and administrators designated by the Sponsors.  In the event of a dispute, all decisions made by the Sponsors are final and binding.  Sponsors reserve the right, in its/their sole discretion, to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or the operation of Entry Websites or who otherwise acts in violation of these Official Rules.  Sponsors further reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, or modify this Promotion if, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of completion as planned (including, but not limited to, for the following reasons:  infection by computer virus, technical corruption, force majeure, or non-authorized human intervention that compromises or affects the administration, fairness, integrity, security, or proper conduct of the Promotion). Sponsors may update these rules and any changes will be posted at our offices. The Sponsors will not be responsible for typographical, printing, or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in any announcements or other materials relating to the Promotion.

 

8. Construction.  The invalidity or enforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.  In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision were not contained therein.
