The Gift of Light, sponsored by Virginia Eye Institute, is a unique holiday giving campaign designed to support our children's programs, like WHEELS and VisioCheck, while also giving an extraordinary gift to the community.

Christmas luminaries are sold with proceeds benefiting Conexus children's programs, and the luminaries are then donated to the Metro Richmond Zoo's Miracle of Christmas live nativity pageant for the whole community to enjoy! Last year nearly 3,000 luminaries lit the pathways of the pageant for all 3 nights, adding an almost magical glow to the festivities.

Check out a video of the festivities here!

1. "Dumb and Dumber To" (PG-13)

Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey are back as Harry and Lloyd. Apparently, Lloyd's been faking a mental illness for the past 20 years. And Harry finds out that he had a daughter with Kathleen Turner that he never knew about.

The two of them take a road trip to find her because Harry needs a kidney.

Laurie Holden, who played Andrea on "The Walking Dead", is the girl's adoptive mother. She's also the movie's villain . . . who wants a package the boys are carrying. The movie also features a hidden cameo from Bill Murray.

2. "Beyond the Lights" (PG-13)

This one almost feels like an updated version of "The Bodyguard". British actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw plays an R&B singer who falls in love with a cop assigned to her protection detail . . . after he saves her life when she tries to jump off her balcony.

Minnie Driver plays her manager, an ambitious stage mom who pushed her into over-sexualizing herself for her career. Nate Parker is the cop, and Danny Glover is his dad.

It might interest you to know that Amar'e Stoudemire is one of the producers, or that Gugu does all her own singing in the movie. She got her dance skills from the same choreographer used by Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj.

3. "Foxcatcher" (R)

Steve Carell plays John du Pont, the guy who murdered Olympic gold medalist David Schultz in the '90s. David and his brother Mark were wrestlers on the team du Pont was sponsoring. Channing Tatum plays Mark and Mark Ruffalo is David.

The movie's told from Mark's perspective . . . the brother who WASN'T Killed. He and David were both living and training at the Foxcatcher wrestling facility on the du Pont estate at the time of the murder. And the real Mark Schultz has a cameo as one of the weigh-in officials. He even helped Channing with his wrestling moves while he was on set.

Anthony Michael Hall is also in it as du Pont's assistant.

4. "Rosewater" (R)

Gael Garcia Bernal plays "Newsweek" journalist Maziar Bahari, who was brutally interrogated in Iran for 118 days after the 2009 Iranian election protests. Rosewater was how he recognized his torturer . . . because that was the smell on his hands.

Jon Stewart directed it, and also wrote the screenplay, which is based on Bahari's memoir "And Then They Came For Me". Jon's pretty passionate about the project, because "The Daily Show" had a correspondent in Iran for the elections, and did a skit where he was posing as an American spy . . . and asked fellow journalist Bahari if he was a terrorist.

After Bahari was arrested and accused of actually BEING a spy, the Iranians were so desperate for evidence that they served up the clip from "The Daily Show" as their so-called proof.

5. "The Homesman" (R)

Tommy Lee Jones wrote, directed, and stars in this western about a drifter rescued from being hanged by Hilary Swank. She's a pioneer woman who only frees him so he can help her escort three supposedly insane women on a five-week trip.

Meryl Streep is a minister's wife who's going to give them shelter . . . Miranda Otto from "Lord of the Rings" and Meryl Streep's daughter Grace Gummer are two of the crazy chicks . . . and the rest of the cast includes John Lithgow and James Spader.

Jason Aldean explained why he pulled his album, "Old Boots, New Dirt" from Spotify. It's not a selfish thing . . . it's about making sure the creative people behind the scenes get their due.

He said, quote, "While I'm definitely paying attention to the business side of things, I am first and foremost an artist. I'm an artist whose career has been built by the songwriters, publishers, producers, and engineers that line Music Row in Nashville.

"What they do has value, and I want everyone involved in making my music to be paid fairly. This is about trying to do what's right for the people who've given me a great life.

"I don't know what the future holds or what my record label will decide to do with streaming partners, but for now, we made a mutual decision to hold my album back."

Garth Brooks' Man Against Machine. Note: Many source say November 11 but others — including Amazon.com — have November 10 as the release and purchase date.

… This is Garth's ninth studio album, not counting compilations, and his first since Scarecrow, which was released November 13, 2001. Except his self-titled debut debut, all of his previous releases have hit the top of the Country Albums chart.

George Strait's The Cowboy Rides Away: Live From AT&T Stadium — exclusively through Walmart. It includes eight tracks not on the initial album.

The Zac Brown Band's Greatest Hits So Far… There are 13 tracks.

Jeff Bates' Me & Conway. The set contains six tribute covers to the late legend and six original songs. Loretta Lynn joins Jeff on Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man, a song she had previously declined to sing with any artist other than Conway. She chose to record with Jeff because he reminds her so much of the late iconic singer.
